A disclaimer, if you will....
As I type this, it is February 12, 2012 and I am 72. What follows is how I best remember my one year in Thule, Greenland. Folks, it has been about 53 years ago that I received orders transferring me from Barksdale AFB, Louisiana to Thule. Ahh, many years have passed so keep that in mind if you read this. I am doing my best to accurately remember the twelve months that I spent there.
